DiveUK Terms & Conditions

  1. Personal Responsibility: SCUBA diving, as with all adventurous sports, involves inherent risks. Dive in Falmouth operates under the comprehensive PADI educational system, meticulously designed to educate SCUBA divers on safe diving practices, adherence to personal experience and limits, and the vital importance of assuming personal responsibility for behaviour and actions. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that your experience with us is both enjoyable and safe. It is imperative that all divers acknowledge and accept personal responsibility for ensuring they are physically and mentally fit to dive. This includes strict adherence to PADI's guidelines on managing pressure, air consumption, decompression limits, the buddy system, and overall safe diving practices. All divers are required to follow instructions from team members both in and out of the water to ensure the safety of themselves and others.
  2. Health and Fitness: SCUBA diving requires a certain level of physical exertion and an average level of health and fitness. Prior to commencing the course, participants are required to complete a thorough medical questionnaire. If any questions on the form are answered affirmatively, written approval from a licensed medical practitioner (GP) is necessary to participate in SCUBA diving activities.
  3. Payment, Refunds, and Cancellations: To secure course dates and/or materials, full payment is required in advance. Unfortunately, refunds cannot be issued in the event of course non-completion or inability to adhere to scheduled dates. However, we are committed to accommodating rescheduling requests, subject to availability. Please be advised that the open water segment of courses is contingent upon favourable weather conditions. Refer to the "Open Water Dives" section for further details. All vouchers purchased are non-refundable.
  4. Rescheduling and Rebooking Fees: Requests for course or booking rescheduling must be made with a minimum of seven days' notice. A rescheduling or rebooking fee may apply.
  5. Open Water Dives: Every effort will be made to conduct open water dives on the prearranged dates outlined in the course booking. However, should inclement weather or hazardous conditions render open water dives impracticable, we reserve the right to reschedule dives to a later date in the interest of participant safety.
  6. Minors: Participants under the age of 18 must ensure that legal forms are co-signed by a parent or guardian, acknowledging their consent and assuming responsibility for the minor's participation in SCUBA diving activities.
